BBI, Monroe Tractor Get Ready for New York Farm Show

BBI is in an empire state of mind, as the company gets ready for the New York Farm Show with one its key dealer partners in the northeastern United States, Monroe Tractor.

The 2013 edition of the New York Farm Show will take place February 21-24 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.  Over 400 vendors will showcase products and services from the world of agriculture, including farm equipment and implements, feed and seed, as well as agribusiness services.

Headquartered in Henrietta, New York, Monroe tractor is the Empire State’s premier dealer of new and used equipment for the agriculture and construction industries.  Out of the dealership’s 11 locations across the state, seven (Batavia, Canandaigua, Auburn, Adams Center, Binghamton, Elmira, and Hornell) stores feature farm equipment from BBI and other major brands.

Two of BBI’s market-leading spreaders optimized for precision agriculture, MagnaSpread and Endurance,  will be on display at the New York Farm Show. MagnaSpread is BBI’s flagship hydraulic spreader for large-scale, precision application of granular fertilizer and lime.  Endurance is the company’s rugged hydraulic spreader for large-scale, precision application of litter and other organic materials. MagnaSpread and Endurance models feature BBI’s proprietary Binary Manifold, making connections to precision agriculture technology tools a snap.

BBI, MULTIPLE DEALERS PREPARE FOR NATIONAL FARM MACHINERY SHOW 

The nation’s largest indoor farm show is coming soon, and BBI Spreaders  will be there.

The 48th edition of the National Farm Machinery Show will take place February 13-16 in Louisville, Kentucky. Held annually at the Kentucky Exposition Center, the show draws over 300,000 attendees for exhibits from leading manufacturers of farm equipment, as well as companies in the farm services sector.

In addition to the National Farm Machinery Show, the four-day event also features the 45th running of the Championship Tractor Pull at Freedom Hall. The invitation-only pull features Pro Stocks, Super Stocks, Modified, and Alcohol Tractors, as well as two-wheel and four-wheel drive trucks with drivers competing for over $200,000 in prize money.

Scott Whitworth, driver of the BBI tractor, will compete in the Championship Tractor Pull’s Light Super-stock Division.

The show will feature multiple free seminars on a wide variety of topics, including market and weather strategies, new technologies, and equipment solutions, as well as emerging trends and forecasts.

BBI will take its sales leadership team to the National Farm Machinery Show, including Lee Kilpatrick, Director of Sales and Marketing, along with the company’s three regional sales managers, Dennis McCauley (Midwest and western United States), Gerry Winters (northeastern United States), and Randy Copeland (southeastern United States). 

Russ McEver, recently tabbed to lead the company’s Parts and Aftermarket group, will also be in attendance.

Three of the company’s key dealer partners for the area will be joining BBI at the show:  Leitchfield Truck and Trailer of Leitchfield, Kentucky, Agro Chem of Wabash, Indiana, and ag equipment sales division of Tennessee Farmer’s Cooperative of Nashville, Tennessee.

The 2013 show will feature four of BBI’s market-leading spreaders, including MagnaSpreadEnduranceLiberty, and Grasshopper.  MagnaSpread is BBI’s flagship hydraulic spreader for large-scale, precision application of granular fertilizer and lime.  Endurance is the company’s rugged hydraulic spreader for large-scale, precision application of litter and other organic materials. Grasshopper is BBI’s mechanical, ground-wheel drive spreader for medium-capacity application of fertilizer and lime, optimized for row crops as well as sod and turf farms.  Rounding out the National Farm Machinery Show lineup is Liberty, BBI’s tandem-axle, medium-capacity spreader that features a ground-wheel drive conveyor and hydraulic or PTO-driven spinners.  Grasshopper and Liberty feature BBI’s exclusive spreader system, delivering wider, flatter, and more consistent spread patterns in the field.

BBI, AGRO CHEM HEADING FOR FORT WAYNE FARM SHOW

The winter trade show circuit picks up more steam in mid-January, as BBI joins one of its key dealers, Agro Chem, for Indiana’s Fort Wayne Farm Show.

2013 marks the twenty-third year that Fort Wayne’s Allen County War Memorial Coliseum has served as a connecting point between Indiana’s farming community and representatives from multiple agribusiness sectors, including farming equipment, supplies, and services. This year’s show will run from January 15-17 and feature nearly 375 vendor participants.

In addition to the hundreds of vendor booths and exhibits, the Fort Wayne Farm Show will feature a full slate of educational seminars from the Northeastern Indiana Soil and Water Conservation Districts and the Purdue Extension.

Gerry Winters, BBI’s territory sales manager for the northeastern United States, will join the team from Agro Chem, BBI’s partner dealer in Indiana, for the Fort Wayne Farm Show. While Agro Chem has multiple locations serving Indiana and Ohio, the team there is especially proud to participate in the Fort Wayne show, as it takes place in the back yard of their Wabash, Indiana headquarters.

For this year’s event, Winters and Agro Chem will be showing MagnaSpread, BBI’s flagship line of hydraulic granular fertilizer and lime spreaders optimized for precision agriculture. MagnaSpread is available in single-axle, tandem-axle, pull-type, and truck-mount options. BBI, AGRI SERVICE SET FOR KEYSTONE FARM SHOW

BBI Spreaders is proud to join one of its key partners, Agri Service, at the 15th annual Keystone Farm Show in York, Pennsylvania.

This year’s show will take place at indoor and outdoor exhibit space on the York Fairgrounds, January 8-10, 2013.  According to the show website, the Keystone event is the fastest growing farm show on the east coast, catering to the mid-Atlantic farming community of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and northern Virginia.

Since the its beginnings in the late nineties, the Keystone Farm Show has tripled in size, as well as extending to three days in order to accommodate increased demand and attendance for a farm expo in the mid-Atlantic region. The 2013 show will boast over 350 exhibitors of farming equipment, services, and supplies, including BBI Spreaders and its dealer partner for the region, Agri Service.

The Keystone Farm Show specifically targets the needs of full-time farmers and is expecting more than 10,000 attendees for the upcoming event. Attendees will enjoy this year’s show from the confines of the newly-refurbished Heritage Hall.

BBI Joins Agro-Chem at Ohio State’s Farm Science Review

BBI Spreaders is proud to announce its participation in the 50th Farm Science Review, Ohio’s premier agriculture show, with our dealer partner for the area, Agro-Chem.

Farm Science Review will take place September 18-20 at the Ohio State University’s Molly Caren Agricultural Center near London, Ohio.

Gerry Winters, BBI’s territory sales manager for the northeastern United States, will join the sales and marketing team of Agro-Chem, a leading dealer of chemicals, fertilizer, and spraying and spreading equipment with locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois, in showcasing BBI’s spreaders at the Agro-Chem booth.

This year’s Farm Science Review marks the fiftieth anniversary of the show, as well as the thirtieth anniversary of the show moving to the Molly Caren Agricultural Center.  Sponsored by the Ohio State University's College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences: Resident Instruction Programs, OSU Extension, and Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, Farm Science Review welcomes thousands of visitors to enjoy exhibits from hundreds of companies each year.

The 2012 Farm Science Review will feature daily demonstrations in harvesting, strip-tilling, global positioning, and manure and tillage.

Also returning to the show is the popular antique farm equipment exhibit, which will feature more than 1,600 pieces of farm equipment, gardening tools, and kitchen utensils dated from 1800-1930.
