Sights and Sounds—the 2013 Southern Farm Show

The sales and marketing team at BBI participates in a lot of trade shows around the country each year.  This winter has been no exception, as we’ve traveled to multiple shows from the east coast to the heartland, and everything in between.

Not that we’re complaining—our people thrive in these environments.  Our front-line team gets a real thrill from sharing with the public our company’s vision for precision farming, as well as the great amount of thought and care that go into the design and manufacturing of each BBI spreader at our factory in Cornelia, Georgia.  And when we get to share our booth with an area dealer that brings a local flavor to the proceedings, well, that’s just icing on the cake.

We had just such an opportunity recently at Raleigh, North Carolina’s Southern Farm Show.   Held annually at the NC State Fairgrounds, the Southern Farm Show attracts thousands of attendees to see exhibits from over 300 vendors representing the wide world of agriculture, from farm equipment to inputs and agribusiness services.

Randy Copeland, territory sales manager for BBI Spreaders’ southeastern United States region, manned the booth during the bustling three-day event that ran from January 30-February 1.  Joining Randy in the BBI booth that featured Endurance and Grasshopper models was Ed Stevens, owner of Stevens Truck and Tractor, a BBI dealer from nearby Goldsboro, North Carolina.

BBI Spreader News was on-hand to capture the sights and sounds at the Southern Farm Show, as well as get some comments and opinions from Randy and Ed.

BBI Launches Dealer Testimonial Video Series

This week, BBI is proud to launch our series of testimonial videos from our family of dealers and customers across the United States, Canada, Australia, and South America.

In the coming months, you’ll see not only instructional videos for setup and operation of BBI spreaders and electronics, but also several installments featuring dealers and farmers describing the BBI user experience in their own words.

First up in the queue is Danny Joyner of Four Seasons Peanut Service in Warsaw, NC.  Danny is a loyal customer of Ed Stevens of Stevens Truck and Tractor in Princeton, North Carolina. From his operation in nearby Warsaw, Mr. Joyner uses the BBI MagnaSpread on his large-acreage peanut farm, as well as a variety of other row crops.

Take a look, as Danny Joyner explains the benefits of spreading with BBI—the user-friendliness, efficiency, and versatility for fertilizer and lime applications that make MagnaSpread the right choice for his farm.

Special thanks to Randy Copeland, BBI’s territory sales manager for the southeastern United States, Ed Stevens, owner of Stevens Truck & Tractor, and, most of all, to Mr. Joyner of Four Seasons Peanut Service, for sharing this success story.

For more information on MagnaSpread, BBI’s line of hydraulic spreaders optimized for precision agriculture-powered applications of fertilizer and lime, visit the MagnaSpread product page at www.bbispreaders.com.  MagnaSpread, standard-equipped with BBI’s exclusive Binary Manifold for ISOBUS-ready connections to industry-leading precision-agriculture technology suites, spreads lime at 60-foot swaths and granular fertilizer at 80-foot swaths that Danny Joyner describes as “extremely uniform,” driving value and efficiency along its path.
